Academic – Foundation in Science

The Foundation in Science programme at TMC College is designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation for progression into relevant undergraduate studies in science, technology, healthcare, and other related disciplines.

The programme covers essential subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English, computer skills, and study skills. Through lectures, laboratory activities, practical exercises, discussions, and problem-solving tasks, students developscientific knowledge, analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to apply scientific concepts in different situations.

Students are supported by experienced lecturers in a student-centred learning environment that encourages critical thinking, teamwork, independent learning, ethical responsibility, and academic confidence. The programme also helps students strengthen the study and communication skills required for successful transition into degree-level education.
